In the real world, money flows to the ideas that are the easiest to find, or the most familiar. And these are not necessarily the best ones (sorry VCs, you know I´m right).

People in general is not willing to use the newly available technologies because they are complex to understand. These technologies are full of mumbo jumbo which mean nothing to most.

This is what happens in the crypto industry. This was also happening in the AI field until the advent of generative AI. Blockchain and data science are endogamic worlds full of acronyms and gibberish, only apt for the initiated.

Adoption happens when things start to have meaning for common people.

For example, Windows made it possible for the masses to actually start using operating systems, just by clicking on some icons. Executing and using millions of lines code became as easy as clicking some little drawings. It was cool, and it was meaningful.

Same is happening with Generative AI and its use of natural language. Suddenly everyone; people and businesses are actively using or learning about it simply because they can talk to a machine.

Technology adoption is driven not by efficiency, but by emotions and convenience.
